Beamsplitters
Beamsplitters divide the incident radiation into transmitted and reflected components. The beamsplitters
can be designed for different splitting ratios and non-normal angles of incidence.

Polarizers
Polarizers split an unpolarized beam of light into a transmitted "P" polarized
component and a reflected "S" polarized component.
Polarizing beamsplitter cubes consist of two right angle 45° prisms that are permanently cemented together. The entrance
and exit faces are coated with an antireflection coating, while the hypotenuse is coated with a dielectric multilayer stack.
